There is no doubt this is my personal favorite LP that Connie recorded. I LOVE  the guitars and the saxophones. The actual sound of her voice gives me chills every time I hear this album or any song on it. There is not a song on here that I can say I do not like.  I like everything about this album; Starting with the album cover design; wearing her lovely Pucci blouse and bracelets and even her hair. I wore mine the same style at that time.

"Jealous Heart" is a country flavored song, which she had a single released on as well. It is a good way to begin this wonderful journey through the collection of songs she has selected.

When I hear "If you ever get lonely" I always have from the first time I heard it, thought this is Connie's song to Bobby! It certainly sounds like "their song" the lyrics sure fit.
 

"Everything I have is Yours" has a wonderful feeling to it, from the first chord on the guitar, it is such a sweet melody, it makes me feel like I am sitting on my friends back porch overlooking the bay as the sun sets. This is a song about loving someone so completely that you give them your all. May be a little too co-dependent, ha ha but lovely song anyway.
 

"Do I" is sad to me, it is someone asking the one they love if they really think they deserve to be treated so badly, a song I am sure she has felt a lot in her life.
 

My favorite song on here is "My Foolish Heart" it has the same first chord treatment as "Everything I have is yours” which is found thought out this album and I think is what makes it appeal to me so much.  Her voice is amazing on here.  I find myself driving along and this album comes on in my car and I have to watch myself not to get lost in the music while I am driving...it is really nice on a long road trip though it is very calming music.

"Nevertheless" speaks for itself, not matter what I love you, I could be wrong about you, but "at this moment it’s ok" have we all been there?

"So Long Goodbye" is a perfect final song on this album. After going through the emotional rollercoaster ride of the previous songs, you come to the conclusion; "ok, there is no such thing and unconditional love, people will let us down and so why  bother" I do however LOVE the quiver in her voice it almost sounds like she is about to cry,  she sighs... in an almost crying voice..."no more will I attempt to dream again" ... Excellent Job Connie.
